On 23rd of November, Google and Fotografiska (the centre for contemporary photography in Stockholm) open up their exhibition Re:Collection Gallery.
This exhibition is meant to be created by the public. Anyone who wants to participate can post an analogue picture on Instagram and use the hashtag #recollectionbygoogle. By downloading the app Google PhotoScan, users can scan their analogue photos and easily upload them to Instagram. The purpose of the exhibition is to give new life to analogue photos lying around at peoples homes, probably forgotten. The public can create their own digital exhibition and honor a friend or a memory. The photos that get’s chosen will be up for a certain amount of time at Fotografiska. The exhibition is live until 4th of December.
