Located in what probably is the coolest opera building in the world (okay, shared first spot with Sydney!) you’ll find this year’s Christmas ballet in Oslo – The Nutcracker.
The Nutcracker is the Norwegian National Ballet’s new Christmas ballet. The ballet, that literally means Christmas for many people all over the globe, is setting up between December 1st to December 23rd. The Royal Opera of Oslo’s version takes place in Kristiania in 1906. The Nutcracker includes dancers from The Norwegian National Ballet and the Norwegian National Ballet School. The ticket’s are sold out for the moment, but have an eye out at the website for extra tickets. Hopefully, this ballet is here to stay and will come back in 2017 as well.
