Jewish Heritage in Oslo

If you’re walking the streets of Oslo, you might notice brass stones on the ground. What that is? It’s memorial cobblestones. 

Every here and there in Oslo you can spot them, the cobblestones in brass with a memorial plaque, in memory of Jewish victims of the Holocaust in Norway. They are set in the sidewalk at locations where Jews and Nazi victims lived until they were deported and killed. All of the locations can be found in this map.
