Starting from the beautifully decorated entrance of Tivoli Gardens, you will see the Christmas highlights of Copenhagen, including the stunning 20 meters high Christmas tree on the City Hall square, Royal Copenhagen’s Christmas Porcelain and, of course, the lavishly decorated facade of the Hotel D’Angleterre. Soon you will forget all about the frosty weather, as delightful Christmas decorations illuminate the street and Christmas cookies such as pebbernødder and brunkager are offered for free in every store. This makes Christmas shopping extra delicious!
During the tour you will learn about nisser – Christmas elves, the importance of risengrød – rice porridge and why a single almond is put in the Christmas Eve dessert risalamande.
