COPENHAGEN. 2hrs. Follow us into one of the most extraordinary neighbourhoods of Copenhagen, Nørrebro. This is the Where-You-Find-Every-Place-You-Want-to-Come-Back-to-Later-Tour, or as we also call it, Multicultural Nørrebro by Bike.
The Little Mermaid? Rosenborg Palace? Amalienborg Palace? Been there! Done that! Follow us into one of the most extraordinary neighbourhoods of Copenhagen, Nørrebro. This is the Where-You-Find-Every-Place-You-Want-to-Come-Back-to-Later-Tour, or as we also call it, Multicultural Nørrebro by Bike.
We take our bikes to discover different areas within this beautiful neighbourhood that offers a variety of impressions. From being a former working-class area and, later, an area where migrants
to the city would settle, Nørrebro has developed into one of the most vibrantly popular neighbourhoods in town (the gentrification of this city centre-adjacent neighbourhood is palpable). This 'bro (NørreBRO, VesterBRO, ØsterBRO… there are many ‘bros to choose from in Copenhagen!) has so much to offer, and it's thanks to the people who call it home that this multicultural melting pot holds the award for the hippest neighbourhood. We’ll discover the detail-loving locals as well as how city planners have used areas in the neighbourhood to create places that put people back in the focus of urban city life. Among them, there is a city oasis with a petting zoo, a 100-year-old public sauna bath and a graveyard where you can also picnic. Or why not relax in a double swing from Iraq or walk on a gigantic banana?
This ‘bro is an insider tip for every visitor of Copenhagen, which we agree is also a must see. Let’s explore the incredible diversity and creativity of Nørrebro in its cafés, design, street art and hangout hot spots. Like we said, this is the place you want to come back to!
Please note: We will be biking mostly on flat surfaces as well as on a few hills. We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you on the tour.
