OSLO. 3hrs. How did the Vikings use to travel and what were their burial ceremonies like? Wonder no more! On our Oslo & Viking Ship Museum Private Driving Tour, we go pillaging through Oslo, and it's history. Are you ready to go berserk?
Do you have an endless fascination with Norse prehistory and the Vikings? History's most feared and famous globetrotting pillagers. Then this is the tour for you! Board your modern Viking vessel (aka accessible van, equipped with a ramp) and set off on a quest to wreak havoc exploring one Oslo's most visited museums, the Viking Ship Museum. Your very own Viking warriors (aka your private driver and guide) are waiting to take you on our Oslo & Viking Ship Museum Accessible Private Driving Tour. Question is, are you?
Voyaging through the city, we'll cover everything from the Ice Age to modern time, and everything in between. We'll pass the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Akershus Fortress, Norway's Prime Ministers temporary office; the Parliament; Steen & Strøm, the most fashionable department store in Oslo; and the Royal Palace, home to the King and Queen.
No Viking crusade is complete without a visit to Viking Ship Museum, located on the Bygdøy peninsula. Prepare to be awestruck as we enter inside the museum and find three of the world's best-preserved Viking ships. You're looking at ocean-going vessels, hauled onto land and used in burial rituals. Our visit includes tales about the vessels wealthy owners, their beautiful wood carvings and the artefacts found onboard.
Having pillaged and plundered our way through the capital of Norway, and it's history, and as we take you back to where your quest began we hope you feel the wealth of knowledge collected during our time together.
