Cute, small, the fourth largest city in the country and home to the first university in Sweden. Of course, we are talking about Uppsala, a city filled with cultural treasures that not everyone knows about. If you’re nice, we might just whisper all of Uppsala’s secrets in your ear.
A man known as The Flower King is from Uppsala, and he lived a secret double life, even though he is famous. We’ll see his work and reveal his story at the Botanical Gardens.
During day-time, you will find orderly students at the first university of Sweden, Uppsala University. In the evenings, they are nowhere to be found. Where do they go? We scout for them at Gustavianum, the original university built in 1625…
In another one of Uppsala’s Secrets, we will search for the tombs of the big king Gustav Vasa. Don’t get scared when the bells suddenly ring and the spirits of our ancestors give you goosebumps. Do you know where we are?
By traveling by the commuter train to and from Uppsala, you will also see parts of the Swedish Countryside passing by the window. Can you keep Uppsala’s Secrets?
