Are you into royalty and fashion? Then this exhibition at the Royal Palace of Stockholm is something for you – Royal Wedding Dresses.
Royal Wedding Dresses is exactly what it sounds like – an exhibition of royal wedding dresses, used by Swedish royal brides. In the collection, which is exhibited at the Royal Palace of Stockholm, you’ll find five dresses: the one Queen Silvia used, Mrs Lillian Craig’s (married to Swedish Prince Bertil, uncle to our present King), Crown Princess Victoria’s, Princess Madeleine’s and Miss Sofia Hellqvist’s. The exhibition is a commemorate for Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf’s 40 years of marriage in 2016. Fact is, no one has been queen as long as present Queen Silvia has.
The exhibition takes place in the Hall of State at the Royal Palace of Stockholm and is open Tuesday to Sunday between 10.00 and 16.00. It closes on 12th of March 2017, so there’s plenty of time left to visit the exhibition! If you want to purchase tickets in advance, they can be found here.
