Are you a ‘shopaholic’ coming to Stockholm? Gladly for you, we know where to shop! Stockholm has entire streets made for those on a budget, those looking for luxury and the vintage cravers.
This week, we’ll present the glamorous Biblioteksgatan (translating to Library Street). This street is where you head to if you love heavy and luxurious brands like Michael Kors, Burberry and Karen Miller. The street has for a while been “the” posh street of the city, but it wasn’t until 2010 that the street got that extra flair. The real estate owner of the area made a real effort to extend the shopping area around Biblioteksgatan, so it would create a bigger shopping district. They call it Biblioteksstan (Library Town). The idea has similarities with Carnaby Street/Carnaby Village in London.
