Dinner with a view is always a good idea for your Instagram feed, right? If you’re planning to visit Oslo this summer and want to have a dining experience out of the ordinary, check out this list of three restaurants in Oslo with a fabulous view.

34 Restaurant at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel
Let’s kick this list of with the créme de la créme! 34 Restaurant is, in fact, the highest restaurant in Norway, with its 110 metres above the ground. The menu consists of local ingredients and changes after every season. When you’re done with your meal, don’t miss go grab a drink at the connected SkyBar. See the menu and make your reservation here.

Solsiden
If you’re in the mood for seafood – which practically is a must during your visit to Oslo if you ask us – you should check out the restaurant Solsiden, located by Akershus Fortress, with gorgeous views over the Oslo Fjord. How awesome to feel the sea breeze whilst eating seafood?! Solsiden offers a “Plateau des Fruits de Mer” – a place of oysters, crabs, clams, mussels, crayfish, lobster, shrimp and king crab. Are you drooling yet? More information can be found on Solsiden’s website.

Stratos
Are panoramic views your cup of tea? Then you need to head to Stratos, located on the 12th floor on top of the theatre Folketeateret. During two months of the summer, the restaurant offers barbecue on its 260-meter big terrace five days a week, often with a DJ or live entertainment. Check out their Facebook page to see if they’re open when you’re visiting Oslo.
