Do you have the desire to see more of the city than what can be covered on foot alone? Get off the beaten track and join us for a city bike tour to find the urban treasures of Stockholm!

Put your feet to the pedals for an adventure around the parts of Stockholm surrounding Lake Mälaren, one of the two bodies of water in the city centre. We promise you beautiful architecture, an old prison, monks, beaches (yes, we have them in the city) and a glimpse of the island where Absolut Vodka was founded.

Looking for more? How about stories about ABBA, one of Sweden’s greatest exports. What about finding cool restaurants and bars to return to on Södermalm, the Southern Island, as you bike through lively streets? Interested in seeing the house where Alfred Nobel used to live? It’s all waiting for you to be discovered with your guide!

Embark on this bike tour along some of the 760 km bike lanes found on the islands of Kungsholmen, Reimersholme, Långholmen, Södermalm, the Old Town (Gamla stan), and Riddarholmen. There are a few hills that you’ll encounter along the way (it’s not Denmark or southern Sweden), and you’re more than welcome to hop off your bike if you need to.

Either way, toward the end of the tour, we’ll stop for a well-deserved traditional Fika break (not included) at a local café where your guide will clue you in on why Swedes and Fika are like peanut butter and jelly or two peas in a pod. The day of the tour

Where to meet

Please be at the departure point, Rent a Bike Shop, at Strandvägen 18, outside the entrance – located on Östermalm, 10 minutes early to check in for your tour.

How to find the guide
Look for our guide holding the OURWAY logo as a sign.

If you have trouble locating the guide or the meeting point, please give us a call a few minutes before the start of the tour. When you call before the tour begins, we have a greater chance of helping you find your way.

Please note
We will be biking primarily on flat surfaces and up and down a few hills. All tours include an optional helmet. We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you on tour.

Restrictions
– Guests cannot be under the influence of alcohol or drugs (We have a zero-tolerance policy toward alcohol and drugs. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted at the guide’s discretion.)
– All Bike riders should wear comfortable shoes (no high heels)
– Guests must be able to sit comfortably for periods up to and longer than 30 minutes at a time
– The age requirement is 12 years old
