Would you like to bring home a souvenir that neither breaks in transport nor gathers dust? Take a Swedish Cooking Class and bring back memories you can recreate in your own kitchen!

Nothing says more about a country than its food. Sweden has contributed lox, pickled herring and cinnamon rolls to international cuisine, but our most famous dish remains the Swedish meatballs. What makes them so Swedish, you ask? How are they different from, say, Italian or Turkish meatballs? In our Private Swedish Cooking Class, you will hear all about it in the company of a professional chef and learn how to cook your very own Swedish meatballs. Following your cooking experience, sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labour before bringing the recipe home.

The Private Swedish Cooking Class is 2,5 hours long and takes place in a cosy studio in Stockholm. Your chef will give you a practical and hands-on lesson in Swedish cooking and teach you about Swedish cuisine in general, so please ask about whatever you want to know on the subject! For an exciting twist on the classic dish, you will cook moose meatballs (rather than beef or pork) in a Juniperberry cream sauce, obviously served with all the trimmings, namely sweet and sour lingonberry jam, almond potato purée and pickled cucumber. Sweden is on a plate!

Please be at the departure point, At the food studio, Ekhagsvägen 4 – located just outside the City Centre, 10 minutes early to check in for your tour.
